On Friday, June 7th, The Continental Group comprising; Continental Holdings Limited, CDH Investment Bank, Continental Asset Management, Continental Capital, Continental Pensions Services, and Continental Properties, held “Woza Friday Aerobics” sessions. The events took place at Blantyre Sports Club in Blantyre and CDH CCBC Branch in Lilongwe.
The initiative was aimed at encouraging a healthy lifestyle among team members while fostering better engagement amongst group staff members.
Participants enjoyed ‘Zonsetu-fun games and energetic aerobics sessions that not only promoted physical fitness but also strengthened camaraderie across the Group.
By integrating such wellness activities, the Continental Group underscores its commitment to the well-being and professional development of its employees, while reinforcing a supportive and dynamic work culture.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, the Group Financial Controller, Mr. Kingsley Zulu, remarked that; “as a group, we believe that the well-being of our employees is of paramount importance and the ‘Woza Friday Aerobics’ sessions illustrate our commitment to fostering a healthier and more engaged workforce”. These sentiments were echoed by the Managing Director of CDHIB, Mr.Thoko Mkavea, in his closing remarks where he stated that “by investing in our employees’ physical health, we are also investing in their professional growth and overall wellbeing. He later thanked all staff present for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to partake in more of such activities lined up for the rest of the year.”
